WHY YOUR RELATIONSHIPS NEVER LAST

By IJEOMA ROSS

You meet a guy. You’re both ecstatically happy. You're sure he's the one. But, as time goes on, things just don’t work out. But why?

Answering this question may allow us to avoid repeating the same relationship mistakes again and again, as so many do. We talked to our married, single and commited friends to get their insight. In hopes of learning from our mistakes, here's 10 common reasons relationships break down:

HE'S AFRAID OF COMMITMENT, WHAT DO I DO?

"Competing in sports has taught me that if I'm not willing to give 120 percent, somebody else will." ~ Warren Farrell
'Fear of commitment' is a well-known phrase. We hear it in the media, as well as use it to describe ourselves or other people who seem chronically unable to decide whether to commit properly to a relationship.
Sometimes such people are tagged 'commitment phobes' (1). They fear being 'trapped' and losing, as they see it, their freedom. Fear of commitment might range from a little uncertainty about your relationship to an absolute terror of 'settling down'.
Take Nigel, for instance:

How my mother killed my father

How my mother killed my father

Emmanuel Ezenwere
I am Emmanuel Chibulke Ezenwere 23 years old, and the first son of late Emmanuel Ugochukwu Ezenwere owner of MANHOOD INT’L LTD which is a known furniture maker in Owerri Imo State. My father was assassinated in cold blood at his residence at Naze, Owerri, Imo State on 8 th November, 2006. The cause of my father’s death is as follows:

Sometime in October 2006, my father quietly walked into his personal office attached to his showroom at 23 PH Road Owerri and caught my mother with a police man in a compromised condition. He got angry and questioned the man as to what he was doing in his office. But the man turned around and violently threatened to kill my father should he be questioned further.

I have no regrets about killing my father – Teenage suspect (PICTURED)

An 18-year-old boy, Olanrewaju Kayode-Aremu, who was recently arrested by the Lagos State Police Command for stabbing his 46-year-old father, Victor Kayode-Aremu, to death has said he does not regret his action.

The native of Kwara State added that he decided to stab his father to death because he could not lay his hands on poison or a gun which he would have used to kill his father

PUNCH Metro had reported on May 15, 2013 that the suspect stabbed his father to death at their home located at Langbasa in Ajah.

CONFESSION: I HATE MY MOTHER AND I FEEL LIKE KILLING HER

This is my true life story. I hate my mother and i feel like killing her. Yes I hate her so much. Just before you start insulting me hear my story.

It all started when my mum got pregnant at the age of 20, according to what I heard, her father was very poor and never had time for the family. When a rich family who have been childless for ten years heard about her they offered to buy the baby from her and she foolishly agreed. In fact that was the beginning of suffering for me, at age 0-5 everything was OK, in fact they treated me as their own child. But when I clocked five(5) my adopted mother became pregnant and every one felt it was as a result of my good luck.

BLACKBERRY ALMOST RUINED MY LIFE

BLACKBERRY ALMOST RUINED MY LIFE

They say its a true life story and as unbelievable as it seems, with the recent inhumane treatments being meted out on innocent girls by some heartless men..one cannot doubt the authenticity of this story...

My name is Chinwe, I am 26 years old, I never graduated from the university, simply coz I was stupid and careless, on my 24th birthday, I received a nice gift, it was a blackberry phone, I always wanted one, it was like a right of passage, my ex-boyfriend got it for me, he was a student like me, didn’t have a job, and I really never cared to ask as he could afford it, my concern at that point was, yes I had finally arrived,......

HOW I GOT MY BOYFRIEND BACK...IT WORKS EVERYTIME

On September 20th my boyfriend and I had a falling out. He just stopped talking to me and I told him I was going to see other people. The day after I complained to two of my friends about what happened. I even tried to move on my going on the dating website we had met on.

Flashback about 7 months before I met my boyfriend. I read The Secret and wrote a full list of what I wanted in a boyfriend and one of the things I wrote was that we will have a relationship that will lead to marriage.

If I Die Young Lyrics The Band Perry

If I die young, bury me in satin
Lay me down on a bed of roses
Sink me in the river at dawn
Send me away with the words of a love song

Lord make me a rainbow, I'll shine down on my mother
She'll know I'm safe with you when she stands under my colors
Oh, and life ain't always what you think it ought to be, no
Ain't even gray, but she buries her baby
